Hello! Nice place you got here (found it through a Téchiné tag). All those are nice movies (I’ve seen most of them, heard of the rest). But “Head On” by Fakin in particular I found to be so-so to be honest. I liked “Edge of Heaven” better. Needlessly I’ll do what I came here to do! Encourage you to put priority on watching “A Blonde in Love” and “The Cranes Are Flying”, which are both truly great movies. While “The Cranes Are Flying” is Russian (well, ex. Soviet really), it shares themes with polish Andrzej Wajda’s “Ashes of Diamonds”; I’ve always regarded those two as to be some of the best movies on WW2. Hope you’ll enjoy!
